After taking the Spring season off. Playmaker Sports Flag Football will return to action on Sunday, September 25. Games will again be played at Helsel Park. The league will consist of a 5 week regular season with playoffs on the 6th week. Each team will play two games every Sunday.

Our 2010 fall league start dates have moved to Saturday, Oct. 2 for the competitive division and Sunday, October 3 for the recreational division. As a result phone registration will remain open until Wednesday night for any team who has not yet registered. We are trying something a little different for this season by running a 5 week regular season and playoffs on the sixth week. We also will not be able to keep stats for the fall. As a result we have reduced the entry fee to $250 per team ($125 for new teams). In this tough economy we are counting on the reduced price hopefully helping some teams that couldn't play otherwise. Currently we have 6 teams registered for competitive, and it looks like 8 for recreational. Anyone still wanting to register for this fall needs to call me at (740) 808-7294. Any individuals without teams should contact me as well, I know of a couple of teams for one more guy.

The Fall 2010 League will begin on Saturday September 25 and will take place at Three Creeks Park - Sycamore Fields Area. Games will be starting at 9:00 and running until 12:00pm just in time to get home to watch Ohio State.

In an effort to attract more first time teams we are drastically reducing the entry fee for teams who have never played in a Playmaker Sports league. The entry fee for new teams will only be $125 and that will cover all league fees including referees, field rental, etc. The entry fee for all returning teams will remain $375.

Over the years we have proven very successful at having teams return to play in our leagues year after year. Where we have been less successful is adding a number of new teams each year. Hopefully the reduced price will allow more teams and players to get the Playmaker Sports experience and continue to grow throughout the Columbus area.
